Beginners Guide to Share A Sale Share A Sale (SAS) is the affiliate program management company that manages our affiliate program. While our afiliates are busy promoting their links, SAS is busy tracking clicks and sales. Whether you have 5 visitors or 500, SAS will show you every click to your links and every sale you make. Share A Sale provides affiliate management for thousands of merchants, including Laga. This guide is not meant to provide instructions for selling goods from multiple merchants - SAS has their own help files for that purpose. This guide is simply to help you navigate SAS as a Laga Handbags Affiliate. When you sign up, Share A Sale will send you an email with your username and password. Go to http://www.ShareASale.com and click "Affiliate Login" in the top right corner. Like so:
» When you first log in, you'll notice a few things right away
» Mouse-Over the Tabs to find lots of goodies...The "reports" tab will let you check activity, sales by calendar, traffic (clicks on your links), payment summary & more...
The "links" tab will give you the default links, or help you create custom links to any page on our site...
The "account" tab lets you manage your details (address, etc)...
The "payments" tab lets you manage payment details and check pay records...
» Click the Star to Go to Your SAS Home Page -- and Other Menus...The big yellow star in the black circle (upper left of SAS page) is a link to your affiliate home page...See the side menus? Click them and a bar of common shortcuts will roll out...
Prefer a simpler interface? Go to the very top of your SAS page and click the "Generation 5 UI" and you'll get a simple text based interface with links to everything you need.
» If it's all a bit intimidating...No worries. Share A Sale is set up so that whether you mess around in there or not, you'll still get paid your commissions.Even if you're a complete newbie to selling online, you can have us build an affiliate page for you - share it with your friends and family - and just log into Share A Sale to look at the top of the login page and see if you have sales and how much you've earned. So you see, you can "get comfortable" with affiliate selling at your own pace, knowing that even if you've never poked around in the Share A Sale member area, as long as they have the correct address for you, you'll still get checks in the mail.
