Mulia, the largest of our travel bags, makes an impressive statement of style and function. As with the Kuat, the interior is padded for protection, lined in luxurious silk-satin and includes a large zippered pocket.
In spite of its size, Mulia, pronounced "MOO-lee-yah", is extremely light-weight and easy to carry, even filled to capacity. The amazing embroidery on the bottom is again protected by sturdy metal feet.
You will be the envy of everyone when you travel with this magnificent bag, so be prepared to share the Laga story and tell them where they too can acquire Mulia!

Laga handbags are handmade in Aceh, Indonesia by women who survived the tsunami that took the lives of over 285,000 people.
Our handbags are sewn on pedal-driven, non-electric treadle machines. Each bag is embroidered with hand-guided patterns that
have been passed through the generations and are indigenous to this area. Each handbag is a unique piece of historical art.
These beautiful handbags have been given Indonesian names that depict hope after the tsunami: “Damai” (peace), “Sehat” (healthy), “Percaya” (believe)...
Each handbag is made from nylon polyester fabric and stitched with nylon polyester thread so your
Laga Handbag is water and stain resistant and lined with luxurious silk satin lining.
Creative, authentic and attractive, each handbag sewn and sold provides renewed hope for a better tomorrow.
