The remaining monies are designated for the training and employing of the 2004 tsunami survivors and, in some cases, to provide food and lodging in an effort to provide long-term sustainability. Besides a full line of all-season embroidered handbags, Laga Designs also offers a healthy selection of wallets, small and large, and as well as checkbook covers. We have book covers in stock “as available” as well as a limited supply of Special Occasion hand-beaded bags. Please contact our office for more information as our hand-beaded bags are not regularly included in the starter kits. If you are local to the Orange County area, you are welcome to make an appointment to pick up your order anytime. If you are out of the area, we ship in-stock orders via Priority Mail within 1-2 business days. As a consultant, Laga is your own business. You purchase your inventory from Laga and your customers purchase Laga bags from you. You retain the difference. As an Independent Laga Consultant, you are also responsible for collecting and paying the sales taxes as per your state’s guidelines. Please contact your State Board of Equalization to apply for your reseller’s permit and for more information. Laga’s uniqueness lies in the nature of its products. Each item in the Laga collection has been made by a victim of disaster. Marketing these products to people in different parts of the world gives them the opportunity to be a part of the relief efforts in a very personal way, knowing that through their purchase they are helping to provide employment and income to those less fortunate. Laga handbags are hand-crafted; therefore, no two are exactly alike. Some of the materials may appear to have slight imperfections; this is normal and a characteristic of the materials used, and truly indicate the handmade nature of each item. Laga handbags are 100% guaranteed. If for any reason your customer is dissatisfied with their purchase, Laga will either repair or replace the bag, or give a full refund, whatever the customer prefers. Consultants will be responsible for sending the returned bag to our office. Laga will provide a repair, replacement or full refund for the customer. BECOMING A LAGA CONSULTANTLaga Designs offers you the opportunity to work from home and build your own business as an Independent Consultant, with an earning potential that can replace or exceed a full-time income. Plus, you will know that your efforts also help make a difference in the lives of disaster victims around the world. Earnings potential varies based on the amount of time and energy you choose to invest in your business. Some Laga Consultants work part-time to supplement their families’ income. For others, Laga is a full-time career. In any case, you retain 50% of all your sales!!Besides purchasing a Starter Kit (see below), you will complete and sign our Laga Consultant Agreement and set up a home office with internet capability.
