Laga handbags are 100% guaranteed against manufacturer’s defects, excluding unusual wear and tear. Laga will be happy to repair your bag within 30 days of purchase date at no cost to you.
If for some other reason you are not happy with your bag, we will gladly make an exchange and/or issue a full refund as long as it is returned to us unused and in sellable condition within 7 days of purchase date with original receipt.

HOW IS LAGA DIFFERENT FROM OTHER BUSINESSES?
Laga’s uniqueness lies in the nature of its products. Each item in the Laga collection has been handcrafted by those in the tsunami-ravaged province of Aceh, Sumatra, Indonesia. Marketing these products to people in different parts of the world gives them the opportunity to be a part of an extension of our relief efforts in a very personal way, knowing that through their purchase they are helping to provide employment and income to those less fortunate.
Laga handbags are hand-crafted; therefore, no two are exactly alike. Some of the materials may appear to have slight imperfections; this is normal and a characteristic of the materials used, and truly indicate the handmade nature of each item.

WHAT IS YOUR PRIVACY POLICY?
We at Laga are committed to protecting your personal information. We assure our customers that your personal information will be used only by us for you and your interest or orders with Laga, and with no one else and for no other purpose.
WHAT DOES “LAGA” MEAN?
Laga was derived from the Acehnese word “lagak,” pronounced ‘LAH-gah’ which means “beautiful.”
MATERIALS ARE LAGA EMBROIDERED BAGS MADE OF?
The material used in making Laga embroidered bags is a nylon-polyester blend with a water-resistant 1/16” polyurethane backing. The lining inside our bags are lined with silk-satin and our travel bags are padded with polyester batting for extra protection. The embroidery thread on all Laga bags is also made of nylon-polyester.
WHAT MAKES LAGA BAGS SO STIFF AND STURDY?
A combination of the polyurethane backing and heavy gauge thread used in our beautiful embroidery contributes to Laga bags’ durability. Additional reinforcements are used on portions of some styles.
HOW DO I CLEAN MY LAGA EMBROIDERED BAG?
The material used to make Laga bags is stain and water-resistant and, unlike what you might expect due to their delicate appearance, are also extremely resilient. If your bag gets wet, simply let it dry or use a blow dryer on the low setting for faster results. Should the embroidery get soiled, just clean your bag with a mild solution of soap and water, using a clean soft rag or soft toothbrush.
HOW EXACTLY ARE THE LAGA PROCEEDS BEING SPENT TO HELP VICTIMS OF DISASTER?
Only operating expenses required to do business are extracted from the proceeds. The remaining monies are designated for expanding our reach to train and provide employment for the long-term sustainability of the people in Aceh province, Sumatra, Indonesia.

We are always in pre-production on other items for which demand calls and we bring in new and fresh in style products, some of the best ideas and designs come from our loyal customers.

If you are local to the Los Angeles area, you are welcome to make an appointment to pick up your order anytime. If you are out of the area, we ship in-stock orders via FedEx Ground or USPS Priority Mail.

RETURNS
- Laga Designs will gladly accept returns and exchanges on any product bought on laga-handbags.com within 30 days of purchase.
- All returns must be unworn and in their original packaging.
- If your product is defective and was purchased at laga-handbags.com, we allow 60 days from date of purchase to return the product for an exchange or credit. If your product is defective and was purchased at a show, please return your item to Laga Returns address for a replacement or refund.

RULES & RESTRICTIONS FOR RETURNS
- Customer is responsible for cost of shipping, unless otherwise noted.
- All returns must be accompanied by a copy of receipt or packing slip.
- Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.
- Items must be returned in new, unused condition and in original packaging.
- We are not responsible for any damage or loss of product in transit back to us.
- In the event an item is damaged during shipment, please contact the carrier with your tracking number.
- Original form of payment will be credited for your refund, unless time has expired.
- We reserve the right to refuse a refund request if it does not comply with these policies.
